10th June 2016, Embu- Leading life insurance company Liberty Life Assurance Kenya has today officially launched its 10th branch at the Njue Plaza in Embu, as part of the company’s expansion strategy to strengthen its footprint and diversify its distribution channels in the country. The fully fledged branch is set to serve both the Eastern and Central parts of Kenya.

Speaking during the launch, Liberty Life Assurance Retail General Manager, Ms. Stella Njunge reiterated that the move would enable the company unlock new business opportunities in the Eastern Kenya with a foray into Central part of the country expected to pick up steam.

“Our main focus is to consolidate growth as we begin to grow our business network market in Eastern and Central Kenya, while also ensuring we remain at the cutting edge of product innovation and consistently improving our services,” she said.

The insurance company is currently working towards gaining significant growth and increasing its market share in Sub Saharan Africa as part of its 2020 strategy. Through this strategy, the company intends to not only provide products and services that are dependable and accessible to Kenyans, but to also improve its customer experience through personalized services.

We are happy to welcome Liberty Life to Embu County which is indeed a timely impetus for the county’s progress towards the achievement of the Kenya Vision 2030,” said Mr. Ndwiga

The branch opening comes at a time when the increasing rate of urbanization and expanding labor force is leading to the rise of the middle class consumers whose discretionary spending power is growing significantly. Insurance companies stand to gain by tapping into this growing market.
